| Bilingual (Spanish & Estonian) and Spanish language worships. | |||||||
| As a community,
it became a goal for us to start the development of new
missionary events -together with the traditional work in
the congregation- promoting the establishment of a Spanish -speaking community. |
|||||||
| Worships in Spanish have been taking place,
step by step, since 2001. In the beginning, one Spanish celebration per month was added to the bilingual one. Since March 2002, activities in Spanish are carried out every Sunday with a renewed timetable in order to bring a more comprehensive service to the people living in the surrounding areas. Thanks to God, worships in Spanish are being held on a regular basis every Sunday with an average attendance between 4-19 people. Two theology students accompany, assist and help in all church duties. |

labor. Presence of The Reformation Congregation in Buenos Aires Northern Area. |
||||||
| Since
year 2000 we are participating at the Ecumenical Board
of Christian Churches in the Northern Area. At the
same time, we share inter-religious activities developed within the framework of Universidad de Buenos Aires and Nuestra Señora de la Rábida Dialogue Group (Buenos Aires city). The Reform congregation is now a reference in BA Northern Area, recently becoming the venue of joint ecumenical events involving several churches, i.e. Presbyterian Scottish, Reformed, Baptist, Evangelical Church of the River Plate, Roman Catholic, Anglican and Methodist. |
||||||
| A community made of more than 170 persons joined towards the Pentecost Ecumenical service, carried out in our church building whereas involving the various Christian churches in the BA Northern Area. These events -plus monthly meetings- are being organized jointly with the San Isidro Cathedral community (Roman Catholic). Right after the worship, the ladies of the congregation offered tea and cakes thus making a joyful time to exchange experiences with brothers and sisters of other churches. | ||||||

Mission Project in Northern Area LUTHERART art - mission - comunity |
|||||||
| What
is the project all about? This project attempts to expand the traditional field of missionary church duties, encouraging a new perspective regarding the topics: from where, to where to and by where ecclesial communication is to be approached in the forthcoming decades |
|||||||
| So it is proposed to locate ecclesial rooms in a functional relationship to the reference or local framework they belong to. This may be achieved through cultural activities that open church's doors to the community and the media | |||||||
| In these seek and challenge of giving hierarchy to new action arenas, traditional activities potential is also taken into account seriously. It is of our interest to bring and give a new dimension to already existing things, incorporating a working methodology that may allow the community both to evaluate and to plan objectives considering the needs of the new times. |
|||||||
| LUTHERART
Support on promoting contemporary music and new art tendencies. |
|||||||
| The historical concept we try to save is simple: it is about proving that the same place where God is praised may also be a proper room to develop art. Thus, the believer community shares God's gifts for God's glory through painting, theatre and music. However, this opening does not get stuck in art deeds, but it continues whenever the community welcomes the "just arrived" and wherever the accompaniment of a side-by-side ministry is followed up. | |||||||

| Though the implementation of new cultural activities is to start, a huge help will be required: Nobody will be out of this network; rather, people are to be invited to get involved as protagonists. The latter relates not just to work but also to the creative action. We are to promote these aims by establishing artistic groups, which may research through theatre, painting, dancing. | |||||||||

| The congregational work also opens its doors to a support task towards young musicians, who perform their art for the very first time. | |||||||||
| It is vital for the Lutheran Church to become a room required by them to share their gifts and skills. In the same way, mission has gotten a rich harvesting within young adults rooms. | |||||||||
